17 of our favorite Google Doodles

All of us know about Google and their familiar Google Logo designed by Ruth Kedar. What we really enjoy however are the other Google Doodles that started to surface for special events, special days, famous people and more. The first goodle doodle was designed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in honor of the Burning Man Festival in 1998.

We browsed through the 2012,2011 and 2012 Doodles and picked a few of our favorite designs, each picked for different reasons (cute,funny,brilliant and kief to name a few). We haven’t even touched the animation ones (future post!) and we’re sure we’re missing some great ones. Which one of these are your favorites? Any we missed? We’ll add them!
